Jill's hooked rugs have naturally evolved from a life-long passion for fabrics and textiles.  Having done a variety of needle crafts from knitting to weaving, she has found that rug hooking combines her love of surface design, color and texture, allowing her to “paint” with fabric.  It seems to be a perfect way to combine hands-on technique, precision, design, color choice, and ultimately the satisfaction of carrying away a functional object.
