Part of our Making Impressions Workshop Collection, Casey Gunschel of Casey Gunschel Design will lead the Tooled Leather Mason Jar Travel Mug Workshop on Saturday, June 16 in our studio. Utilizing traditional saddlemaking techniques and tools, students will be shown how to create a functional leather art piece by Casey. Starting with a blank leather “canvas”, workshop participants will learn how to carve, lace, hand stamp and dye their own mason jar travel mug. Creativity is welcomed, and pre-designed patterns will be offered. This workshop is offered to the experienced leatherworker and beginner alike. Workshop is limited to (8) students and is for ages 16 and up. All materials are provided.
