Dinghies at the Dock

Original oil painting by Bobbi Heath, a Massachusetts fine artist.

If you visit any New England town with a harbor, there'll be a dinghy dock. That's where the small rowboats that lobstermen, fishermen, sailors, and yachtsmen use to row out to their boats. Reference material for the dinghy paintings were photos taken from visits to many harbors during summer trips on our boat. The photos gave me a structure and a jumping off point for each painting, and I chose the color schemes based on memorable ones I've seen in our travels.

This oil painting is unframed and measures 12" x 12".
