Bird on Croquet Ball Wire Sculpture by Mark Holme

This table top sculpture measures approximately 9" x 9"; the bird is perched on a croquet ball. 

Wildlife and it's environment has been a  consistent theme in Mark's work over the years. Over the past several years he has been intrigued with depicting the motion and anatomy of wildlife in wire sculpture. By creating each piece he learns something about the animal and how best to represent it in it's form.
