Original oil painting by Bobbi Heath, a Massachusetts fine artist.
"I love lobster buoys just as much as lobster boats. The buoys mark individual traps or the ends of trawls (strings) of traps on the bottom. Each lobsterman paints them with his or her own colors and design and must have one of the buoys displayed on the boat so that's clear which buoys he'll be pulling. The beautiful colors and interesting orientations of the buoys in the water always grabs my attention. I've become pretty good at leaning over the side of our boat and grabbing a snapshot as we go by."
Each buoy painting is framed in a simple gray frame and measures 6" x 6"
