Original Oil Paintings by Christy Gunnels LaGue

I met Christy many years ago when she was working in the Art Department of our local school district and I was organizing a local festival to promote our downtown.  Fast forward to her retirement and my gallery in Marion, we work together as artists to promote each others work. Christy stopped in recently with a new batch of paintings of Great Blue Heron and Great White Heron.  My skills in ornothology are minimal, but you do not need to be an ornothologist to enjoy and appreciate Christy's painting skills.
