Making Impressions

Making Impressions

In a recent conversation in the studio with Amy Thurber, I drew a comparison of making impressions on clay and making impressions on leather.  There are similarities between Amy's work and the work of Casey Gunschel.  We quickly started comparing and contrasting the works and we invited Casey to join the conversation.  This dialogue brought about a new Workshop Collection for Early Summer and it is being offered on Saturday, June 16 and Saturday, June 23.  Amy will offer a 2-day workshop and Casey will offer a 1-day workshop on both Saturdays.  We are all looking forward to the opportunity to work collaboratively and teach select students how to make a piece of Leaf Pottery, Tooled Leather Belt, or a Tooled Leather Mason Jar Travel Mug.  It should be a good start to the summer, sign up today for one or both of the Making Impressions Workshops.
